Vibe coded iOS apps pricing roundup: thirteen app cards on phones, tablets and a TV, most showing price tags and a few showing revenue bars

The apps

WatchBridge. An Android TV utility that sends Google TV and Fire TV clicks to the player app you choose. The maker says Claude Code wrote most of it, in under three weeks. Indie Hackers shows $49 a month (self-reported). It sells for €4.99 once. Read the WatchBridge case study.

WeConnect (Stack Breakdown). An iOS developer with 20+ years of experience built this dating app with live chat translation in 100 days. Cursor Pro at $20 a month wrote most of the code; free tiers of Claude, Gemini and Grok helped with the hardest parts. Revenue is not disclosed; point packs from $10 to $200 are live (pricing only). Read the WeConnect stack breakdown.

Zine. The founder of the Graphlit platform built this AI chat and search tool for your work apps with Claude Code. The MVP took about eight weeks. The first paying customer came about four months in (self-reported). Revenue is not disclosed. Copy the build method, not an income expectation. Read the Zine case study.

AppAlchemy (First 100 Users). A self-taught developer built this browser-based AI builder for mobile apps in about two weeks, using Claude Code and Cursor. First users came from patient, value-first Reddit posts. One influencer post brought the big jump. He reports $10K+ MRR within about a year (self-reported). Read how AppAlchemy got its first users.

NetDoctor. A founder with 20 years in healthcare sales built this Argentine telehealth marketplace with Bolt in three months. Revenue is not disclosed; the model is a 5% commission per completed consultation (per Bolt's customer story). Three months after launch: 90 approved providers and 50 patients (self-reported). Read the NetDoctor case study.

SANICE AI (Postmortem). An options trader who had never opened a terminal built this multi-model research app by talking to Claude, in six weeks. As of April 2026: $0 revenue, 0 paying customers and 10 registered users (self-reported). The six-week build was never the hard part; finding buyers was. Read the postmortem.

One Good Thing. A self-described marketer built this one-idea-a-day iPhone app with Claude Code as a pair programmer. It took three months of research before any code, and 14 builds before App Store approval. Revenue is not disclosed; it costs $3.99 a month, $24.99 a year or $99.99 lifetime (pricing only). Read the One Good Thing case study.

DayTap (Security Lens). A software engineer new to iOS built this daily check-in safety app with Claude Code. Miss your check-in, and your contacts are alerted. Revenue is not disclosed; it is free with a $0.99-a-month in-app purchase. The builder's blog describes the encryption design. We did not test DayTap. Read the check-in app security guide.

MoatRadar. A first-time builder shipped this AI investing-ideas tool in a few days with Claude. It runs on one plain server with one AI model and Stripe. Revenue is not disclosed; credit packs start at €5 (pricing only). Read the MoatRadar case study.

Profit AI (Pricing Teardown). An e-commerce consultant with no coding background built this Shopify profit-analytics app, mainly with Claude Code. It charges $799 a month. He reports about $30K MRR (self-reported, via summaries of a Starter Story interview). He started at $5,000 a month and cut the price when almost nobody bought. Read the Profit AI pricing teardown.

Learnprints. A solo founder working full-time at a family cabinetry company built this AI study planner over nine months of nights and weekends. Tools: Lovable, Cursor, Claude and a bit of Codex, on a budget of about $2,500. Revenue is not disclosed; the founder's stated launch price is $15 a month CAD. Read the Learnprints case study.

Agensi (Non-Dev Build). A non-technical founder built this marketplace for AI agent skills with Claude Code and Lovable. It made about $200 in sales in month one, plus one yearly subscriber (self-reported, April 2026). Payments, payouts and an MCP server all work. Read how Agensi was built.

LoudReader. An iPhone app that reads books and articles aloud, with the speech generated on the device. The maker used Claude Code and Codex throughout, over two to three months of weekends. Revenue is not disclosed; it costs $7.99 a month, $49.99 a year or $199.99 lifetime (pricing only). Read the LoudReader case study.

Patterns this week

Vibe coded iOS apps pricing patterns: seven price tags with no revenue, two apps tuning price and channel, and small focused apps beating big unsold ones

  1. This was a pricing-page week. Seven of 13 apps show a price but no revenue. A live price proves the founder is asking for money. It does not tell you anyone paid.
  2. The top earners tuned price or channel, not features. Profit AI started at $5,000 a month and listened when buyers said no. AppAlchemy grew through Reddit posts and one influencer.
  3. Where the money did not come from: more features. SANICE AI merged several AI models and reported $0. WatchBridge does one small job and shows $49 a month. Small and focused beat big and unsold this week.
  4. One-time prices fit apps that run on the device. WatchBridge sells for €4.99 once. LoudReader, which generates speech on the phone, offers a $199.99 lifetime plan.

Security takeaway of the week

Two case studies this week came back to keys. MoatRadar's checklist says keep the OpenAI key on the server. DayTap's builder stores encryption keys away from the database they protect. Anything in your frontend code ships to every visitor. That includes variables with a public prefix like NEXT_PUBLIC_ or VITE_. Keep secret keys on the server, and never commit them to your repo. Step by step: Environment variables security.

Key takeaway

A price on a page is a start, not a result. This week's earners picked a price, tested it on real buyers and changed it. Ship a paywall early, then spend your time finding the people who will hit it.
